James A. (Jim) Ravanelli, CFRE
President and Founder

Jim founded James A. Ravanelli and Associates in 1990. Jim's passion for helping non-profit organizations led him to his company motto of "Serving those who serve others."

Jim, a Certified Fund Raising Executive, earned his certification from the CFRE Professional Certification Board. He is an active member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals and was named the "Outstanding Fund Raising Executive" of 1995 by the Abilene chapter in recognition of his outstanding leadership in fundraising as a consultant for non-profit agencies.

He also has served on the Executive Committee of the Board of the Association of Philanthropic Counsel as the elected treasurer of the organization.

In 1996, he began publishing Stewardship LifeStyle, a newsletter aimed at helping church members of all faiths develop a giving lifestyle.

After graduating from Abilene Christian University in 1963, Jim served several Christian universities and organizations in a variety of positions until 1990. He held positions as director of annual giving, alumni relations, development, recruitment and admissions and as a marketing consultant.
